As a current art student, my interest in studying art is not just as an educational progression but a strong vocation. It is something inside me that has been missing, an intangible feeling that I couldn’t pinpoint and when I was in a position to do so, I decided to follow my heart. I needed to fulfil myself, prove something to myself and to express myself. In art and design, especially Fine Art, I have found the means to achieve this.

My main interest is in abstraction of nature, be it a landscape or the human form. I look for rhythm, colour, contrasts and structure and how the light interacts with the subject. It is a process of careful observation and then capturing the emotion onto canvas. I like ambiguity in paintings, forcing the viewer to look deeper and remove layers to get to the essence, letting the colours form curtains through which to peer, how the colours blend and meld from different perspectives.

You are most welcome to view my site and hope you find it enjoyable.
